Muktinath is an important pilgrimage place for both Hindus and Buddhist. The holy shrines at Muktinath are in a grove of trees, and include a Buddhist Gompa and the pagoda-style temple of Vishnu Mandir , containing an image of Vishnu. Around the temple is a wall from which 108 waterspouts, cast in the shape of cows' heads, pour forth
Sacred water. Even more sacred is the water that issues from a rock inside the ancient Tibetan-style jawal mai temple a short distance below the pagoda. Inside this Gompa, behind a tattered curtain, are small natural gas jets that produce perpetual holy flame alongside a spring that source of the sacred water. This auspicious combination of earth, fire and water is responsible for the religious importance of Muktinatah. It is often possible to see Tibetan women, with elaborate turquoise-embedded headdress engaged in devotion at these shrines.
Muktinath itself offer the dramatic views of beautiful mountain , Mt. Dhaylagiri (8113m), Nilgiri, Tukche peak , Throng peak Tilicho peak and beautiful Kali Gandaki and upper mustang valley. And also you can enjoy with Annapurna and Machhapuchre panoramic view from the plane while we fly to Jomsom.
Itinerary :-
Day 1. Arrive in Katmandu transfer to Hotel.
Day 2. Morning Darshan to Lord Pashupatinath afternoon fly to Pokhara over night at Hotel.
Day 3. Early morning flight Pokhara to Jomsom commence trek(yatra) to Kagbeni. Holly bath at Gandaki River .
Day 4. Kagbeni to Muktinath.
Day 5. Morning organize perform Pooja spiritual activities and afternoon trek back to Jomsom over night at Hotel.
Day 6. Early morning fly back to Katmandu via Pokhara over night at Hotel.
Day 7. Katmandu sight seeing and preparing for departure.
Day 8. Departure transfer to connect your onward journey.
