The Adventure in Brief:-

At 8,463m. Mt.Makalu is the 5 th highest mountain in the world. It was first climbed by the French party in 1955 .Lying on the eastern Himalayan range Nepal-Tibet Border. The lush, rich landscape of the Makalu area is an Ideal environment for mosk deer ,blue sheep and the infamous yeti. This area is reach of culture and natural heritage and the major settlement ethnic group of Rais.

We can make an outstanding trek Mt. Makalu from Tumlingtar walking north of the Arun Koshi to Num, sedua and Tashi Gaun which is the villages to the terraced mountain side village of Tashi Gaun the legendary Sherpa village. Then crossing shipton La (4216m.) into the upper Barun Khola valley for close look Makalu and Chamlang. The trek to Makalu base camp visit one of the most remote and unfrequented areas of Nepal . You can enjoy panoramic view of Mt. Everest Kangshung face , Lothse Mt. Makalu and more peaks view from just above the Makalu base camp place call sersong.

The Barun valley is part of a huge international protection area under an agreement between Nepal and Tibet .

Itinerary :-

Day 1. Arrival kathmandu transfer to Hotel ,evening welcome dinner.
Day 2. free in Katmandu preparing for trek.
Day 3.Fly to Tumlingtar commence trek to Khadbari.
Day 4.Khadbari to Chichila.
Day 5. Chichila to Num.
Day 6. Num to Sedua.
Day 7.Sedua to Tashi Gaon.
Day 8. Tashi Gaon to Khongma.
Day 9. Khongma to Dobate via over passes Sipton La pass( 4216m)
Day 10. Dobate to Yangla Kharka.
Day 11.Yangla Kharka to Yak Kharka.
Day 12. Yak Kharka to Shersong, same day visit Makalu base camp.
Day 13. Excursion above shersong .It is spectacular climb up grassy slope to the top of the ridge. and enjoying panoramic view of Mt.Everest, Lhotse , Makalu and several other peaks. we can see both the south ridges of Everest , along with the Kangshung face and the south col. Makalu looms above the ridges of the north.
Day 14. Shersong to Yangle Khark.( Same route back to TumlingTar).
Day 20. Fly back to Kathmandu .
Day 21. Free,in katmandu Evening farewell dinner.
Day 22. Tripe conclude departure transfer.
