Nepal opened the Kanchenjunga area to trekkers in 1988, through people had trekked in the area in connection with mountaineering expedition since the turn of the century. This area long way from Katmandu . Kanchenjunga is on the border of Nepal and the Indian state of Sikkim . This is the 3 rd highest mountain in the word and this area is the rich of culture and heritage apart from the mountain view .

The Kanchenjunga region is the home of the Limbus. Limbus are the major ethnic groups of eastern Nepal. Relatives with Rais , Rais are another major ethnic group of eastern Nepal .

Kanchenjunga region is the very famous for trekking and mountaineering in eastern Nepal Himalaya .

Itinerary :-

Day 1. Arrival kathmandu transfer to Hotel. Evening welcome dinner.
Day 2. Free in Katmandu preparing for trekl.
Day 3. Morning after breakfast fly to Britnagar and drive to Basantapur , commence trek over night tent camp.
Day 4. Baantapur to Chauki.
Day 5. Chauki to Gupa pokhari.
Day 6. Gupa Pokhari to Nesum.
Day 7. Nesum to Thumma
Day 8. Thumma to Chirwa.
Day 9. Chirwa to Sakathum.
Day 10. Sakathum to Amjilassa
Day 11. Amjilassa to kyapra.
Day 12. Kayapra to Gunsa.
Day 13. Acclimatization day at Gunsa.
Day 14. Ghunsa to Khambachen.
Day 15. Khambachen to Lhonak.
Day 16. Lhonak to Pang pema. Kanchenjunga north base camp. The spectacular view of Mt. Kanchengunga .
Day 17. Pang pema to Khambachen. Take morning hike up the ridge north of Pang pema to a vantage point with views of Kanchenjunga , Wedge peaks , twin peaks , Pyramid peak and tent peak. Enjoy with panoramic view and afternoon trek back to Khambachen.
Day 18. Khambachen to Gunsa.
Day 19. Gunsa to Amjilassa.
Day 20. Amjilassa to Chirwa.
Day 21. Chirwa to Linkhim.
Day 22. Linkhim to Sukutar Airport .
Day 23. Fly back to Kathmandu via Biratnagar.
Day 24. Free in kathmndu ,Evening farewell dinner.
Day 25. Trip conclude dep. Transfer to Ktm airport.
