The trek to Gokyo offers an alternative to the traditional trek to Everest Base Camp trek. From Gokyo-Ri , more of Everest itself is visible, through from slightly greater distance, than Kalapathar. The mountains are more spectacular, the Ngozumpa Glacier is the largest in Nepal Himalaya, and from a ridge above Gokyo, four world highest above 8000m.mountains of Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Mt. Everest are visible at once. Enjoying the Sherpa hospitality, we ascend along the Dudh Koshi river through rhododendron and conifer forest to the yak herders' settlement of Gokyo valley and ascend Gokyo Ri (5360 meters) enjoy the super panoramic view of mountain. The huge glacier and beautiful lakes among the snow-capped peaks make it very a special trek. After exploring the famous Thyangboche monastery and traditional Sherpa village of Khumjung , we take Himalayan flight back to Katmandu .

Itinerary :-

Day 1. Arrival transfer to hotel evening welcome Dinner.
Day 2. Free in Katmandu preparing for trek.
Day 3. Fly to Lukla and commence trek to Phakding.
Day 4. phakding to Namche bazaar.
Day 5. Namche, acclimatize, view of Mt. Everest .
Day 6. Namche to Phorse Tanga.
Day 7. Phorse tanga to Dole.
Day 8. Dole to Machermo.
Day 9. Machermo to Gokyo.
Day 10. Ascend Gokyo Ri (5360m) to view the magnificent look of Makalu , Lhotse , Cho Oyu and Mt. Everest and more, afternoon side walk to 5 th Lake .
Day 11. Gokyo to Phortse .
Day 12. Phortse to Tangpoche, visit Monasteries .
Day 13. Tanpoche to Khumjung, afternoon visit Khumjung Monasteries ( there are Yeti scalp), Khunde hospital and Hillari school.
Day 14. Khumjung to Monjo.
Day 15. Monjo to Lukla trek end. Day 16.Fly back to Katmandu .
Day 17. free in Katmandu evening farewell dinner. Day 18. trip conclude dep. transfer to airport.
